Niles West High School, founded in 1959, is a four-year (9-12), premiere high school in Skokie, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago located about five miles from Northwestern University. A rich and demanding curriculum combined with our STEM research centers and extracurricular programs highlight our belief in the development of all aspects of a young person's life. In everything we do, we are committed to excellence and to the growth and development of our students to ensure a love of learning and a lifelong commitment to helping others. The attendance area of the school has a variety of office developments, technology parks, light industrial and shopping districts.
