NIMA is a youth initiative working to promote Art in India. Over the course of its inception since 2018, we have conducted events across 3 cities and given a platform to 50+ amateur as well as professional artists across different fields including slam poetry, instrumental music, theatre, stand up comedy and so on. We have also raised funds for artists and witnessed a footfall of 150+ audience members at our events.We have also collaborated with different ground level organisations for both, online and offline events. For our ongoing campaign, we are committed to raising awareness on queer issues such as queer mental health, the struggle of coming out and institutionalised discrimination amongst others. Our recent endeavours garnered the support of organisations like the All India Queer Association, Jimme Foundation, Queergarh and Queer Desi Mag.
