Ninja Book Box was set up in the summer of 2016 in response to our inability to find a book box dedicated entirely to independently published books. Based in the UK we were looking around for a curated box of books and goodies that would enable us to discover loads of new genres and books we'd previously never heard of. These, of course, do exist, but there was nothing which catered to our specific desire to support and discover independent publishers, and so we launched our Kickstarter, hoping that a few friends might back it. By the time it ended we had raised almost triple our initial funding goal and done a lot of jumping around screaming.Each box features titles from independent publishers across a variety of genres including (but not limited to) contemporary fiction, graphic novels, science fiction, mystery, historical fiction and fantasy. We aim to bring you the new favorite authors you didn't know you were looking for, along with an immersive reading experience enhanced by the additional items in each box. Each quarter your box will contain one independently published book plus at least 2 gifts and additional items and an invitation to join our private book group and talk all things bookish!
