NJStoica is a startup fund specializing in global macro trends, natural resources and blockchain based investments; these different sectors can move fast at times, but I always try to take a long term approach and keep enough skin in the game to ensure my incentives are aligned accordingly. I have been passionate about how money moves around the world since I was very young; but I only really started to become passionate about finance and money management when I had a visceral experience with my first big investments during the 'Great Recession' of 2008. Loosing money is a quick way to help motivate you to learn a lot more, and dig deeper to decipher the noise in the global financial markets - it worked wonders for me!
