Registered in the Ministry of Unification in South Korea, NK Watch was founded in 2003 by survivors of North Korean political prison camps. NK Watch works to raise awareness throughout the world on the public execution, ruthless torture and beating, sexual violence, famine, disease, forced labor, and many more egregious human rights violations taking place in North Korea, particularly in political prison camps. Ultimately, NK Watch aims to help end the human rights violations and restore the rights and freedoms of the people in North Korea.
