The Imported Commodities Mall (ICM for short hereinafter) of Yiwu International Trade Mart is a new initiative launched by Yiwu City to adapt to the market demand for international development and promote market transformation and upgrading, as well as a new benchmark set by Yiwu City to achieve transformation from one-way export to multidirectional trade of export, import and re-export under the historical context of China's vigorously promoting the development of import trade and reducing the trade surplus. Located on the 1st floor of the District 5 of Yiwu International Trade Mart, with a planning area covering 100,000 square meters, ICM contains over 400 shops in five business areas, including Food & Health Care Products, Garments & Shoes & Hats & General Merchandise, Jewelry & Crafts, African Products Exhibition & Sales Center and ASEAN Products Exhibition & Sales Center, and other imported commodities. It gathers more than 50,000 featured commodities from 90 countries and regions. As national projects, African Products Exhibition and Sales Center and ASEAN Products Exhibition and Sales Center have introduced products from 28 countries. Looking ahead, ICM will rapidly develop into an import trade height in China, then become an excellent exhibition and trade platform for foreign products to enter Chinese market, and finally accomplish the great change from "buy and sell domestic goods" to "buy and sell global goods".
