Founded by the Australian artist Michael Nock, Nockie's Palette wine series was conceived as an idea "Where Art Meets Wine". Nockie's Palette Wines was created with a vision to combine Michael Nock's love of good wine with his passion for art. He believes that just as great works of art are created by the artist, so great wines could be crafted by combining the artisan winemaker with the best terroir in the Australasian region. Artists and artisans combine talents to produce something extraordinary. Nockie's Palette believes it is the artist or artisan who contributes the most value in the production of something genuinely great. Nockie's wines are made by a small number of hand-picked top winemakers from across New Zealand and Australia, and include Central Otago Pinot Noir and Rose, Hawke's Bay Chardonnay, Barossa Shiraz and Barossa GSM. Their award-winning Pinot Noir grapes are harvested on their Georgetown Vineyard in Central Otago, New Zealand.
