NoFootprint are a sustainable technology start-up in the process of designing ways to incorporate small-scale renewable energy solutions into clothing, to charge mobile phones and other portable devices. Our ambition is to help divest from fossil fuel infrastructure by enabling people to harness ambient energy that otherwise goes untapped.Our first project is to design shoe inserts capable of repurposing the kinetic energy from footsteps into usable electricity. The average person walks 7000 steps per day. Globally, that's 55.7 trillion daily steps. If we can harness this, our reliance on fossil fuels will decrease tremendously, and make for a greener future.
