NOISE FICTION is an independent audio-services company owned and operated by Daylon Walden located east of Seattle. Noise Fiction provides cutting edge story driven sound effects, audio post, location sound, voice over and composition for entertainment and educational media.Daylon cut his professional teeth on the job in and around the Seattle post and film community at various facilities. He could procure coffee for under-caffeinated clients with the best of them! Occasionally he was allowed to touch the gear. This lured him into crawling behind consoles, dubbing, archiving and editing dialog. Eventually he was ecstatically running sessions for radio, video and film projects. He was living the dream. One film project in particular involved stabbing a large roast and goring a pumpkin for a nasty horror scene and Daylon was "hooked"!Finding himself continually drawn to the creation of sound effects Daylon decided to try his hand at the burgeoning video game industry. He landed a sound design gig at a well-known local game company. He felt cool. He felt a part of something new and exciting. Hungry for more he settled in with an independent game audio company where he created effects and music for games too numerous to count. Concurrently he picked up freelance post work for the Discovery, Sundance and Lifetime channels. He was on cloud nine!These days Daylon continues to do audio post and sound design work for game and video projects including recent work for Microsoft and Oculus.
