Explore with Purpose. Nomad Plastic is a purpose-driven company developing business concepts integrating sustainable tourism and low tech solutions to regenerate marine biodiversity, address plastic pollution and develop sustainable activities for local communities in remote areas. Unique sustainable tourism experience: participants will get to explore the hidden jewels of Komodo, Flores and Sulawesi aboard a remodeled traditional boat specifically built to access remote locations. During the week aboard the Nomad boats, participants will witness the most beautiful and natural ecosystem in the world, "the last paradise of earth". Marine Conservation & Waste Management: Beyond exploring, we aim at bringing solutions to the visited communities through the support of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), empowering the fight against plastic pollution and the development of other sustainable and resilient activities: aquaculture, sustainable fishing.The ultimate goal of the project is to set up a closed economic loop model based on feedstock of plastic located on isolated islands in the Indonesian archipelago, which will ultimately clean beaches of waste, create significant job opportunities for local communities and improve livelihoods.Our ultimate objectives are:- Restore marine biodiversity & address plastic pollution- Provide jobs & economic opportunities in remote coastal areas- Empower communities to build sustainable & resilient activities
