NOOR is a grassroots organization designed to bring Black Muslim youth together in a space of skill-building/sharing, networking and self development through arts-based programming. Our key component, a peer-mentorship program for Black Muslim youth aged 18-22, will be a safe space for youth to build leadership, communication and teamwork skills through the arts while also focusing on healing and overcoming societal barriers. Throughout the year, we will also be hosting community events, and workshops, with our culminating event being a showcase of the works our youth have created throughout the year.
