Borne out of the need to cultivate and promote a nascent film industry, Nooran Pictures was established in 2012 by a Bahraini team of wide-ranging expertise and united in their cultural goals for the industry in as much as their entertainment objectives. This teaming of kindred spirits combined arguably the most crucial elements in the filmmaking process – the visual picture and the written word, a complementary partnership whose work brings to light regional advances in the field.Building on their local and international experience, the team plans to develop Independent films in addition to operating as a specialized incubator for local filmmakers to access international distribution outlets and promote their products.
