Nordic Forest Games is a startup with a mission to give happiness and health to humanity through movement based games.Our current work is focused on B2B-partnerships with pharmaceutical companies where we develop physiotherapy games for specific illnesses to complement traditional treatments. Many disorders require daily (boring) physiotherapy exercises so it is not surprising that the adherence to, and efficacy of, these exercises is low. Our games activate motivational neurotransmitters that make the exercises fun and help patients stick with their training - the result is a higher quality of life for patients.At the same time, we are iterating on a scalable business model. The problem that we want to solve is the fact that humanity is becoming more and more inactive at the same time as our knowledge of the importance of physical activity for both physical and mental health increases with every day (remember, this was even before covid-19). For us, it all comes down to this: Humanity's screen time is skyrocketing, how can we leverage this to make the world a happier place through movement?
