Nordsken is a tribute to people's imagination and ingenuity with a focus on games, culture and creativity. It's an inclusive party where we encourage individuals wild fantasies.Nordsken mix of content is unique in the Nordic countries and it is the only major meeting place for this kind of culture in northern Sweden.The first edition of Nordsken was arranged in spring 2012 in Scandics Exposé in Skellefteå. It was a relatively small event, but our ambition was all the more. Since then, we have developed the event continuously to achieve a size where major international players also want to participate and to be able to pull visitors from all over the Nordic region. Due to the major development the event has had in the last years we decided in 2017 to move to Skellefteå Kraft Arena. 2018 was a fantastic year with 8500 unique visitors, making us the biggest game event in Northern Scandinavia.We are now working with the 9th edition of Nordsken and we are pleased to note that we have now become a recognized and awarded event which means, among other things, that that really cool content end up here. The 2019 edition will be a gigantic event and fill the entire Skellefteå Kraft Arena, a total of close to 10000 square meters.At Nordsken it's a friendly atmosphere and we work hard to maintain it. We base our rules on Sveroks Code of Conduct for esport, cosplay and larp and we work hard to ensure that it is complied with. We also work hard with inclusion, which means targeted actions for women to feel safe and welcome, as well as cooperation with organizations working with people with different types of functional variations or with persons of foreign descent.
