Norshades AS is the company designing, producing and promoting Specula. Specula of Norway is a brand all about passion.With our experience in making the best sun, sports glasses, and goggles for a decade, we have now started on a new journey with Specula. Dedicated to keeping it real and making the best products possible for the best possible price. We design our sunglasses and have them handmade in Italy. Our cases are handmade in Norway and we only produce with the best materials. We have for many years made sports glasses for Olympic and World champions as well as extreme athletes through our many years of presence in Voss and Extreme sports. We are as Norwegian as it gets with loving sports, hiking, skiing, biking, and running, we will stay dedicated to make the best glasses for active people. You can be sure that every glass we make is thoroughly tested, most of the time by extreme hikes starting in the city, driving our car up, and then taking them for an extreme hike through fjords and up on mountain peaks. Norway is the most beautiful country in the world, but for sunglasses and their lenses, it is also so difficult with many different conditions to adapt to. In this field we are probably the best there is. Just saying. Our first collection of Specula sunglasses is called Mozzafiato, which means breathtaking. The story begins…
