North Country Life Flight, Inc. is a quarter of a century old 501(c)3 corporation with the mission of providing air medical transport to the residents and visitors of northern New York State. Created through a grassroots effort spearheaded by full- and part-time residents of the Adirondack North Country, this corporation has always felt an obligation to the residents and visitors of the region to provide a service that can meet the many challenges that make the region unique—from medical, geographic, sociological to even recreational standpoints. Supported by the people of the region, North Country Life Flight fundraises to provide the medical equipment, training and personnel necessary to meet the critical medical needs of the region no matter where those needs may occur. Specially trained flight nurses and flight medics work together to provide a highly skilled team ready to respond to hospitals, accident scenes, mountainside, bodies of water and anywhere else their lifesaving services may be needed.
