North Country Showcase provides a market venue for many businesses to showcase their products in a centralized location increasing sales and exposure to the products of the North Country and creating a tourist attraction. We will operate a brick and mortar retail store to showcase the most comprehensive variety of products made or manufactured in the North Country. The products will be secured from local vendors for sale on a retail or consignment basis. Small businesses are the backbone of America's economy and are responsible for 75% of all new job growth in the past decade. Yet, these same small businesses are often inundated with, production and daily operational tasks and are unable, or lack the experience, to market themselves. Many North Country businesses are in remote locations and are far from their market. Some have used online sales to augment their "bricks and mortar" businesses. However, there are increased sales opportunities for these businesses in a centralized marketplace. The goal of the showcase is to market to tourists, as well as North Country residents, the high-quality products produced in the North Country. By linking with tourism promoters and marketing this outlet we believe it can become a destination for those visiting the area and for the close by Canadian market.
