North County Martial Arts (NCMA) is a martial arts studio and after school program in Carlsbad, teaching the traditional martial art of Tang Soo Do, a Korean fighting style that encompasses karate striking techniques and grappling self defense from Shotokan karate, Subak, taekkyon, and Kung Fu in a disciplined environment.We serve martial arts to the following communities in San Diego: Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos.North County Martial arts has been teaching karate for the past 20 years to children, teens, and adults, on how to reach their full potential through the life skills of leadership, integrity, goal setting, self discipline, and academic excellence. It is NCMA's goal to build a Carlsbad karate school that offers not only an effective self defense program for children and adults but also a comprehensive program of personal growth and development. The emphasis on teaching life skills is what sets us apart as a martial arts studio and after school program.The NCMA facility is second to none. Offering state of the art equipment, safety mats, and a large comfortable lobby and AMP - all of which are deep cleaned daily for your enjoyment. Each instructor and after school martial arts assistant goes through intensive training, and only the most enthusiastic, driven, caring black belt instructors will ever lead your child's class. Our school has families who want their children to grow up in a positive environment where life skills are taught.
