The North Georgia Angel House, Inc. exists to provide a safe home for girls to flourish while receiving care, guidance, and commitment from the staff and community and as a whole. We are nestled quietly between the city of Canton and the mountains of Blue Ridge in the Northern Georgia region. Our age range of 12-21 leaves one to wonder how a child can succeed with so many years of instability behind them. Imagine changing schools more than a dozen times and having scheduled time to visit your siblings? Our goal is simple. Through love, support, and modeling, our girls are given the opportunity to experience childhood in a home with countless resources to begin the healing process and prepare for the journey of life after foster care. In the twelve years since the North Georgia Angel House Inc. opened, more than 1,000 girls from over 66 counties have joined our family. Both short- and long-term stays have led our girls to countless opportunities such as adoption, employment, college, or serving in the military. We are ranked in the top 2% of best performing Child Care Institutes in Georgia spanning over a decade. We are nationally accredited through the Council on Rehabilitative Facilities. Our home is licensed by the Office of Residential Child Care and maintains highly credentialed staff that have served the public for over 50 years collectively.
