"Connecting real people to God's real power to live real life as He designed it! "In the early 1920s, a small group of evangelists began holding "tent revivals" in the emerging city of San Bernardino, California. Many lives were changed as a result of God's power present in those meetings. In 1923, the group chartered the very first Assemblies of God church in the city. The young church grew dramatically and through sustained, vibrant ministry, continuously served the downtown San Bernardino community for the next 82 years. In late 2005, the long standing faith community chose to follow God's leading and replant in the growing community of northwest San Bernardino. First Assembly of God became North Hills (an Assemblies of God church)— a great place for people in the Shandin Hills/Muscupiabe community and beyond to connect with God and genuine people who are pursuing a relationship with Him.At North Hills, we believe that God is God. We are not. There are things only He can be— things only He can do. As a faith community, our responsibility is simply to nurture open, authentic, intentional environments where we can meet with Him and let Him be God in us, His way. Our relationship with God isn't static or mechanical. It's dynamic. It's organic. To learn more about the way we think about church, visit us at www.northhillsonline.org
