North Shore CHADD is North Shore Chicago's local chapter of Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), the national nonprofit organization that improves the lives of people living with ADHD through education, advocacy, and support. CHADD provides science-based information and recommended resources for ADHD. The local chapters create support groups and advocacy for those living with ADHD and their families. North Shore CHADD meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Wilmette Public Library from 7 to 9 PM. Meetings include local and nationally known speakers on ADHD; discussion of ADHD symptoms in children and adults; discussion of ADHD challenges at home, at work and at school; and evidenced-based strategies for those living with ADHD.
