About our affiliateThe North Willamette Valley affiliate of Habitat for Humanity was founded with the vision and energy of Ivo Bauman in April of 1986, making it the second affiliate to be established in Oregon. The first home was constructed by Habitat for Humanity volunteers and dedicated in 1987.In the last 30 years, 43 homes have been constructed by volunteers and purchased by local Habitat families serving the communities of Scotts Mills, Woodburn, Mt. Angel, Silverton, Oregon City, Gervais, Canby, Molalla, Aurora, and Hubbard. Construction on the 44th home is well underway in Woodburn, and should be complete by spring 2017. In addition, NWV Habitat has built 65 homes overseas and completed 18 ReHabitat repair projects for a total of 129 families served!
