The North Technology Group has a long history of leading the way in marine innovation. Since 2020, this has included developing the DynaRig concept, which has proven to be the most efficient, safe, high-performance sailing system for large vessels, operable by a single person from a control panel. Since being delivered successfully to the leisure market, it has now become the mission of North Windship Technologies to prove the potential of the DynaRig concept, and other wind-powered systems, as solutions for sustainable commercial shipping. By funding and carrying out cutting-edge research, working closely with other leaders in the space - such as the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association and the International Windship Association - and by using the extensive experience and facilities from across the North Technology Group, our vision is to be a leading light in a brighter future for commercial shipping.
