We're a positive and proactive not-for-profit group that wants to make Northbridge the best place it can possibly be!Made up of locals, business owners and Northbridge lovers, we strive to make our little corner of the world even more awesome – and we do this in different ways, from organising events, connecting people, improving our streetscapes, promoting local businesses, place branding, marketing initiatives, and more.Anyone is welcome to become a community member (free) or business member ($50), or share their ideas for Northbridge with us – get in touch anytime via our website. Northbridge Common is focused on:• Contributing to vision and leadership for Northbridge• Being positive and proactive• Being non-political in our approach and independent of governments• Getting stuck in and have a go rather than waiting for "someone else" to do "something"• Being supportive of high-quality, environmentally sustainable development that provides forcurrent and future residents, businesses and communities• Being run by the community for the communityWe're affiliated with the Town Team Movement, a non-profit organisation that (started in inner-city Perth and) is helping to create a network of Town Teams around Australia: www.townteams.com.au
