Northcrest Baptist Church Details
Northcrest Baptist, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, was organized in 1965 in a small store-front building in north Meridian. Over the years, many souls were saved and the church grew. In April of 1997, Northcrest moved in to it's current 1100 seat worship facility and has grown to over 2500 members. People who attend our church come from all type of different experiences and backgrounds. Some come with no church or religious background at all. Suddenly, they find themselves at a Baptist Church. What does that mean? Many have understood the Baptist church by its common stereotypes, but we can assure you that the Northcrest family is not your stereotypical church. We are unique. We believe church should be joyful and exciting, yet without compromising the truth of God's Word, the Bible. We are a Christian evangelical church—a church whose primary purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, disciple new belivers and equip them for ministry.
