In the last decade, many people in the Northeast have worked together to build a local beer and bread supply chain from the ground up. In fact, the number of people touching local grains, in some way, is now in the hundreds. Consumers can now find beers, baked goods, and spirits with local flour and local malt. Will you join our vision? We see tasting events, social media, traditional media, an image/logo, collaboration projects, annual symposium tied to a public festival, a calculator that allows for formulating acreage to a beer or bread, and many other consumer-focused initiatives.Current Organizing Group:Amy Halloran, Author, The New Bread Basket, NYJeff Trout, Poormon Farm, Seneca, NYBarry Labendz, Kent Falls Brewing, Kent, CTFrancis Domoy, Domoy Farms, Medina, NYJC Tetreault, Trillium Brewing, Canton, MACorey Mosher, Mosher Farms, Bouckville, NYBen Roesch, Wormtown Brewery, Worcester, MAMatthew Steinberg, Exhibit-A Brewing, Framingham, MAAndrea Stanley, Valley Malt, Hadley, MACheryl Thayer, Ag Economic Development Cornell University, Ithaca, NYMark Sorrells, Small Grains Breeder Cornell University, Ithaca, NYAaron MacLeod, Center for Craft Food and Beverage Hartwick College, Oneonta, NYNicole Carrier, Throwback Brewery, North Hampton, NHMimi Buttenheim, Mad River Distilling, Burlington, VTKyle Anderson, The Dirty Truth, Northampton, MALaura Stone, Tiny Seed Project, VTEmily Cayer, We Knead Nature, Stannard, VT
