Northern Merchant Services, Inc. (NMSI) was founded in 1997 by Kevin J. Weller and achieved rapid success as a registered ISO of Visa/MasterCard and as the regional servicing agent for Elavon/Nova's community bank channel contracts. NMSI was acquired by the ComVest Group in 1992 due to the strength of our customer service department and our depth of merchant knowledge. We currently process volumes of over $13 billion annually. While we remain in the North Country keeping our roots in-tact, we have access to the newest and most innovative technology partners in the industry today, with the ability to board any merchant and apply a multitude of programs and products to their merchant account. This list of products and programs includes gift cards, electronic check services, online/virtual merchant processing, cellphone and wireless processing, and EBT just to name a few. Our newest offering is DonateWiseNow, an affinity marketing solution that allows customers to donate to charities chosen by the merchant at the time of checkout.NMSI's Referral Partner Program will produce a new source of income for your financial institution.
