The Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre (NORMHC) is an incorporated non-profit organization focused on the preservation of historical artefacts that pay tribute to the heritage of northern Ontario and the history of the lumber, mining and railroading industries. The museum is open to the public between the months of May-October for tours. The museum is home to an incredible collection of historical artefacts including two retired steam locomotives. The museum hosts a variety of special events including Canada Day celebrations, its annual Rods N' Rails Classic Car Show on Father's Day and the Terror Train 6077 during the month of October.
