The Northern Territory Farmers Association (NT FARMERS) is the peak body for the Plant Industry in the Northern Territory and is an amalgam of the former Northern Territory Agricultural and Horticultural Associations. NT Farmers commenced operation on 1 July 2012.Our members are made up of a range of incorporated entities and other commodity or special interest groups. We currently have some 220 members in our organisation.Our association group members consist of; > The Northern Territory Mango Industry Association; > The Nursery Gardens Industry Association of the Northern Territory; > The Tropical and Exotic Fruits Association (NT and Qld) > The Northern Territory Citrus Growers Association;Our Commodity and Special Interest Groups consist of; > Melon Growers > Asian Vegetables; > Cut Flowers; > Banana Growers; > Improved Pastures / Fodder; > Organic Growers;Associate Members (Agri-business)Our Association is governed by a Council of Regional Members made up of the following regions. > DARWIN > DOUGLAS-DALY > KATHERINE-MATARANKA > CENTRAL AUSTRALIA
