Northwest Accounting Educators (NAE) Details
The Northwest Accounting Educators (NAE) organization has offered continuing professional education (CPE) to accounting faculty and professionals for over 30 years. Each year in the fall, the NAE sponsors a conference. Since 2009, the conference has been co-sponsored by the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA).The 2011 two-day NAE Conference (NAEC) is scheduled for September 7 & 8, at the WSCPA Learning Center in Bellevue, Washington. Accounting educators and professionals will learn about topics and issues affecting the accounting profession, including outsourcing, financial accounting update, IFRS, cloud computing, Excel 2010, lease accounting, creating videos for classroom instruction or posting to YouTube, teaching accounting online/hybrid courses, accounting homework, and more.For registration information, search for "NAEC" on the WSCPA Education website at https://www.wscpa.org/Content/Education.aspx. Early bird registration is available until July 31, 2011.
