The Northwest Iowa Showdown is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help serve 4-H and FFA youth by conducting an annual event to showcase livestock exhibitors and animals, while trying to improve and promote animal agriculture in a positive way throughout the community. Our goal is to provide the hard-working youth involved in 4-H and FFA an opportunity to not only enhance their livestock project and compete at a more prestigious level but also this competition will help build skills, self-confidence and leadership qualities. These young men and women may become our next generation of farmers and ranchers. All the while this event will help educate local visitors and the community about the importance and impact of agriculture.
