Northwest Mutual Aid Collective is a grassroots food resource and food supply organization located in the northwest Germantown section of Philadelphia. Established in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, our organization aims to help combat food insecurities and food waste by supplying local nonprofits and organizations that meet local families' needs within the Northwest Philadelphia community. We believe that people in a transitional point in their lives need a hand up and not a handout, and we strive to be that support.Our Mission is to be a food resource hub by working with community partners and community leaders to establish a collective to create change and growth within the community when dealing with food.
