Norton & Smailes is a Perth based specialist tax law practice, established in 1994.We provide comprehensive tax advice and related services ranging from corporate and personal tax consulting, litigation and dispute resolution through to wills, estate planning and superannuation.The management of these matters is the cornerstone of personal wealth creation and preservation as well as corporate growth.The founding partners, Richard Norton and Chris Smailes established Norton & Smailes in 1994. From their extensive experience in larger firms, they were able to identify a market niche in the provision of specialist tax, superannuation and succession planning legal services. Daniel Fry joined the partnership in 2006 and Alan Krawitz in 2012. Since the inception of Norton & Smailes, the firm has continued to grow is now the largest specialist tax team in Perth. Our four Partners, along with Senior Associates, legal consultant, and several solicitors practise in our specialist areas ranging from income tax, capital gains tax, GST, tax disputes and resolution and superannuation, all elements of estate and business succession planning, including related commercial and revenue litigation areas. We work very closely with our private and corporate clients to provide a specialised service, offering quality advice in both an effective and efficient manner.
