Planet Earth is called "The Blue Planet" because 73% of its surface is covered in water; of that quantity only 2.5% of it is freshwater. Agriculture, the Environment, Industry and ourselves compete for this fraction; agriculture uses almost 2/3 of it; and climate change affects its availability broadly. The limited resource is used inefficiently because of a worker dependency, and this raises costs, puts resources at risk, and overuses water where crops are produced. It turns out, it takes up to 2700 litres of water to make a cotton t-shirt; up to 180 litres of water to make a litre of beer; and up to 3500 litres of water to make a beef burger. At Nosetsa, we provide a 'digital brain' that integrates with existing irrigation equipment to ensure accurate plant hydration, reduce water overuse, conserve resources and minimize costs. We digitize each litre of water so we can save it, to save ourselves.
