Not a Guru is an LLC formed in 2009 to empower people to create a joyful life based on becoming their own guru. Despina Gurlides, the founder, has written a book entitled "Not a Guru: One Woman's Spiritual Journey to Happiness."In this book, Despina describes her journey as she broke free from the Matrix of corporate America, with the lessons that she learned on the way. The second part of the book describes her breaking free from the spiritual search and from following a guru. From that experience came the commitment to only follow her heart, regardless of society's rules and expectations.Despina writes "religiously" in her blog: http://Despina-NotAGuru.blogspot.com. Her hope is that the lessons she has learned support others on their path. She is available for coaching sessions and as a speaker. In addition she is a developmental editor who has the ability to streamline language and turn every manuscript into a well-written, easy-to-read book, while maintaining the author's transmission.
