The BCFE aims to improve breast cancer awareness and provide education and breast cancer support services in Egypt. Education and awareness is directed to the public in general, womens' groups and workplaces, as well as the education and training of health workers who are confronted with breast cancer in their clinical practices. Care and support services are severely lacking in this field and BCFE endeavour to bridge this gap by offerring services needed before and after diagnosis and treatment.
