In the event of an emergency, it is vital for emergency professionals to be aware of any important medical conditions you might have. In addition, it is important to be able to contact your family. Many people in critical condition arrive at the ER unable to communicate. The majority of these people do not have a contingency plan in place in the event of such an occurrence. In most cases, a driver's license or an identification card is the only clue to the identity of the person. Unfortunately, a driver's license doesn't display information that is vital. If you are unconscious or unable to communicate, the current protocol only requires that emergency professionals remove your driver's license, and only call your home phone number. Our service, called My Notification Service (MNS) offers assistance to emergency medical professionals worldwide in the event someone has a medical emergency. When a call comes into our 24-hour call center we first verify the parties involved and then MNS provides two important services:• Forwarding the medical information of that person to any verified hospital. This would include all of their pertinent medical history, prescription and non prescriptions drugs taken, allergies, emergency contact information on up to 3 physicians, and medical insurance policy information. This information is provided by the subscriber.• Notifying up to 9 contacts that an emergency occurred and the location of the subscriber. This feature will allow important contacts to be notified such as your family, employer, child care, pet care, physician, etc.
