Established in 1950, the Notre Dame Law School (NDLS) Moot Court Board provides an opportunity for students to develop their research, writing, and oral appellate advocacy skills. The student-run Moot Court program also hosts the annual Notre Dame National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom. The Board is comprised of five teams (Showcase, 7th Circuit, ABA, IP, and Jessup) that represent NDLS by competing in appellate and international competitions. These competitions include the National Moot Court competition, the American Bar Association competition, the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition, and the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court competition.
