We are an independent charity based in Nottingham providing long or short-term psychological counselling for any individual aged 16 and over, living in East Midlands.Our goal is to provide appropriate counselling and support for all.Founded in 1977 and since has been fully accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We were a runner up in The 2013 Nottingham Post Business Awards as a Not-for-Profit Organisation. All our counsellors are highly qualified and experienced in working with people from all walks of life. They have excellent listening skills and are trained to listen to you without judgment to help understand your current difficulties, past experiences, present anxieties and concerns about the future.When you visit one of our counsellors, they are trained to help you to make your own choices and decisions about the changes you want to make in your life. They are there to listen and support you, not to give advice or tell you how you should feel and what you should do.We are a leading EAP provider for the East Midlands and have been providing external professional support and staff counselling for over 10 years. Our services are designed to help organisations put in place the best programme of action to enable their employees to resolve personal or work-related issues that are having a negative impact on their work. We provide counselling placements, practice and experience, supervision and mentoring to support the development of the future generation of counsellors.
