As applications become larger and more complex, GraphQL schemas can become challenging to navigate. User-defined Types can be nested multiple times, increasing the cognitive load on the developers who need to use the API. Though good documentation can help alleviate some of the burdens on developers, it can still be a challenge to see how the graph fits together. We built Nova to provide front-end and back-end developers with a visual abstraction of the schema, allowing relationships to be more fully understood.
