We are a US company with a strong connection to India and the herbs that come from the Ayurvedic tradition. We own three certified organic farms in that area, which is one of the richest agricultural areas in India. Supplying some of the biggest names in the Natural product industry with super-premium ingredients has been our passion from the start. We source the herbs used in our extracts from our own certified organic farms as well as from the certified organic coop that we founded and funded to ensure that the farmers that tend these precious plants get a fair price for their efforts.Our Certified Organic FarmsOur certified organic farms near Satara, India. are situated in lush green environments surrounded by mountains and deep forests. These farms are used as a source for turmeric, ginger, and other herbs. We also have a botanical garden of more than 400 herbs used to test future crops and highlight underutilized and endangered species. Additionally, we use the surrounding forests for ethical wildcrafting of herbs.Certified Organic Farming CoopOur operation is truly sustainable, not only do we grow herbs and spices on our own certified organic farm but we have organized and educated the farmers all around us on organic and sustainable practices. Our Group has even paid the fees associated with getting the certification, an expense the farmers in that area could never have afforded on their own.We have also contracted with these farmers to grow and supply us with the herbs and spices necessary to maintain our supplies even through massive growth. As a member of the Nisarga Biotech Group, we are a part of sustaining a wonderful way of life for over 250 Indian families near Satara and for helping to preserve the planet for the next generation.
