Since 2011, Statement by Cyrielle (SC) has been bringing you some of the best models in Winnipeg, MB; our main goal has always been to redefine beauty in the fashion industry. Being in this industry, we have faced a lot of racism, discrimination, stereotypes and more. We wanted to do something about it and be part of a change and provide opportunities. With that said, we are proud to introduce our new and improved model management line: Nubia Models, nation wide with our headquarters in Edmonton, AB. Nubia is created to target and reduce racism, discrimination, and stereotypes in the modeling industry that black models specifically face. At the same time, we want to empower our unique nubian princes & princesses from the inside and out. Nubia Models fills the gap in the Canadian modeling industry by being a unique agency that only focuses on models of African and Caribbean descent. Africa is a huge continent filled with a diversity of gorgeous talented individuals. Nubia aims to seek those exotic fresh faces, furnish them to our clients, while showcasing the richness of the caribbean and african cultures to the world. Empowering one Nubian model at a time.
