NUCA North Texas, founded in December of 2011, combines the benefits of operating under a mature national organization with the dynamic energy of a new and growing chapter. Our members are building a better Texas through training, continued education, and participation in the communities in which we live.NUCA Texas was chartered at the March 2016 National Convention. This statewide umbrella association will provide members with the cohesive voice necessary for statewide advocacy. Previous at-large National members as well as North Texas members automatically became members of NUCA State when they re-invested in NUCA for 2016. NUCA Texas will be a catalyst for the development of regional activity based chapters in other parts of Texas.NUCA National, founded in 1964, is a nationwide network of state/regional chapters and member companies represent utility contractors, excavators, suppliers, manufacturers, and other providers in the water, sewer, gas, electric, telecommunications, treatment plant, and excavation industries. NUCA has been the driving force behind improving conditions in the utility construction and excavation industry for over 50 years. Supporting both open-cut and trenchless contractors, NUCA continues to be the only voice dedicated exclusively to welfare, profitability, and improvement of the Underground Contractor Industry.NUCA's Core Purpose: Improve the safety, operational proficiency, and financial performance of its member companies by providing services that focus on shared industry issues. NUCA works to ensure regulation is clear and reasonable and to increase funding for America's aging underground infrastructure.
