Noah closed its head office operations in June 2013. If you would like to get in touch with one of the Community Based Organisations (Arks) that Noah was supporting, please contact admin@noahcommunity.orgNoah was a non-profit Child Protection organisation which committed to building the capacity of South African communities to care for their own children orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS. They had a database of approximately 60 000 children who they provided services to in over 100 communities. (These children are now registered with the Arks directly) The support provided to these children in the poorest of communities range from nutritional feeding programs to homework assistance, life skills training, day-care, after-care and psychosocial support. - This support continues, even without funding. Noah further provided community empowerment, training and development to their staff within the 112 communities they had themselves in. Noah is provided vital community development work that was designed to improve the quality of life for our vulnerable children.We would like to thank all of our partners who played a role in empowering these communities.
