NUS Department of Pharmacy Details
The Department of Pharmacy is the only department that offers pharmacy education in Singapore. Founded in 1905 as one of the pioneering Departments in NUS, our vision is to be a leader in shaping healthcare through innovative pharmaceutical education, research and practice. The Department offers undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education programmes in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. It is embarking on a pedagogical shift towards integrated curriculum and lifelong learning. In the 2019 QS University Subject Ranking, pharmacy and pharmacology in NUS ranks top in Asia and 13th in the World rankings. Besides its education programmes, the research in the Department has constantly evolved over the years, by covering highly diversified research topics and innovative disciplines, and by merging them together into a common tripartite drug-product-patient approach.
