NUS TLS had its inception in 1975, with the mandate of uplifitng the Indian community and promoting the Tamil Language and culture, with organizing multiple initiatives such as Sports Spectra, Saadhana Mentorship and Yutham. We also take pride in our biennial Sangae Muzhangu, one of the biggest student-run productions in the Tamil theatre scene. We organise conferences and seminars, with a history in Tamil Language Seminars, WTUYC, STYC, and our latest addition TLS 45 Conference. With our 45th anniversary, it is time to reflect upon our achievements and look critically into the success of our projects, while building strong alumni relations and marking our place in the Indian community, where we encourage our committee members to continue to transcend, lead and serve.
