Nutrition Connections, formerly the Nutrition Resource Centre, is a centre for nutrition knowledge and collaboration. We help health professionals, community organizations, educators, researchers, and others working in food and nutrition to build capacity, connect, and share information.While we provide services in all areas of nutrition and healthy eating, a primary focus of our work is food literacy, which includes: • knowing about food and nutrition • having food skills• feeling confident when choosing, preparing, and eating food• making healthier food decisions most of the time; and • understanding how the food system; food environment; living situations; and culture and traditions impact food decisionsand recognizing that these various components of food literacy are all interconnected – To find out more go to www.foodliteracy.caWe are pleased to offer services to those in Ontario and beyond.
