Laura Disharoon, MS, RD, CDCES is an experienced dietitian specializing in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and the FODMAP diet. She offers a comprehensive 4-month long online group program called IBS Roadmap, in which she walks people through the three phases of the FODMAP diet, as well as other diet and lifestyle changes, to reduce digestive symptoms and improve quality of life. IBS Roadmap includes extensive education, weekly group coaching, monthly 1:1 coaching, resources, and community support to give one the best chance of success in reducing the symptoms of IBS.Laura has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian since 2008. She has an extensive background in clinical nutrition, working in a variety of settings with diverse populations and medical diagnoses. She completed Monash University's 30-hour training on IBS and FODMAPs for dietitians in September of 2020, and she is experienced in using diet and lifestyle to reduce IBS symptoms.Laura is a single mother to her son Miles. In her free time she enjoys yoga, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She care about the environment, and she tries to make choices in her daily life that support the health of our planet. She is committed to social justice and learning more about the history of racism in the United States as well as what it means to be white or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in this country.
