Scammers, posing as NuvoGroup executives, are using fake emails to contact individuals, interviewing and offering them a job. Upon offering a job, the criminals request a W-4, I-9 and/or direct deposit authorization info resulting in the disclosure of the individual's sensitive personal/financial information. To protect yourself, you should be aware of the following:-Emails from NuvoGroup have the domain nuvocares.com. If you receive a job offer or other correspondence from nuvocares.co, or from Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, Telegram or Instant messaging apps, it is NOT from NuvoGroup.-NuvoGroup never requests payment from candidates. Anyone making an employment offer in return for money or other gain is not authorized by NuvoGroup. -While NuvoGroup sometimes uses a third party agency to assist with recruiting, NuvoGroup executives using an email with the domain nuvocares.com always make the offers. If you receive any unauthorized, suspicious or fraudulent offers or interview calls, please email: report_abuse@nuvocares.com. If you are a victim of fraud and have made a payment under false pretenses, please contact the Federal Trade Commission and report the incident.
