Northwest Arkansas is blessed with an abundance of extraordinary schools — some of the best in the state and nation. Numerous traditional public schools, public charter schools, private schools and home school groups offer our children a great foundation on which to build their futures. We have enjoyed two very successful years of celebrating education with you at our annual event, the NWA School Choice Festival, held each January in Springdale. We are excited to announce that this year will bring some remarkable changes within our organization. We'll be shifting our focus and expanding our services to better serve schools and families throughout our region. Now, in addition to our annual festival, we're establishing a full-service organization, laser-focused on providing pathways and resources to students, families, and educators year-round. By investing in high-quality new and existing programming throughout area schools of all types and connecting families and educators in impactful ways, we are transforming the educational landscape of our region. Our centralized service, provided free of charge to all NWA families, helps to identify areas of need, interest, focus, and skill, and to ensure each student has access to truly individualized academic planning services that will help them navigate their K-12 and higher education experiences and increase their overall personal success levels for the future. Our new organization is called EDNexus. We are building a collaborative community to holistically support students, families, and educators, increase graduation rates, and ensure that students are not only prepared for their higher education or technical educational pursuits, but that they can access those with ease and confidence. We empower families, educators, schools and organizations to cultivate innovative, collaborative educational relationships that create stronger outcomes of success for all.
